Everybody knows that animals are the favorite things for the folks online, especially the dogs and cute cats. Recently a dog named Marnie has been able to get extraordinary fame on the internet.
Marnie is a senior pooch with amusing facial expressions.
The 18-year-old senior dog looks quite youthful for her age and usually has her tongue sticking out of her mouth. Another permanent feature of the dog is her tilted head because of a disease.
The adorable senior pooch now has 2 million Instagram followers, and the number of his fans is growing day by day.
The owners of the pooch are using him to convince people to adopt senior dogs. Marnie’s description on his website says that the older dogs become very grateful to their owners for giving them a second chance at a happy life. The senior dogs always show an attitude of utmost gratitude while living at their new homes with their new owners. The website also claims that Marnie is the most famous rescue pooch on Instagram.
Marnie was saved off the streets when she was ten years old. When the local Animal Control found her, they noticed that she was very smelly, so they named her Stinky, and after spending four months at the shelter, the dog was finally adopted. Her new owners had read a post about her on petfinder.com and immediately became interested in adopting the dog.
At the time of her rescue, Stinky was found to be blind from one eye, which seemed cloudy and gray. It is believed that she would most probably never be able to see from one eye again. She also smelled terrible.
The dog’s new owner Shirley took her home and named her after the famous musician Marnie Stein. The pooch has also started smelling nice now because all her fourteen decaying teeth were extracted.
