Lily wandered the streets of the little Romanian town where she lived. She followed passersby every day in the hopes that someone would notice her and help her. She persisted despite the dangers that surrounded her because all she wanted was to live a better life.
As soon as the rescuers of the animal rescue organization known as Howl of a Dog learned about Lily, they realized they had to assist her immediately. They got all the necessary information and wasted no time once they learned where to find her. They rushed to her rescue.
When they were at the location, the rescuers discovered Lily doing her usual routine. They enticed her to go to a safer place, by offering her treats. They waited until she was comfortable with their presence before assuring her that they were merely there to help.
The rescuer took her time until she was satisfied the dog trusted her completely. She then attached a leash on her and carried her inside the vehicle. And from the rescue scene, the dog was sent directly to the animal clinic for immediate medical attention.
Lily was so relieved to leave the streets. Throughout their trip, she sat on the knee of her rescuer and gazed out the window as though to bid farewell to everything in that place. She knew it was the beginning of a brand new and exciting chapter in her life.
The dog had several tests at the veterinarian’s office, including a blood examination. The vets wanted to determine whether she had any ailments, and happily, the results were favorable. However, she required treatment against ticks and fleas, and she later returned home with a prescription for immune-boosting nutrients and vitamins.
Lily resided at Howl of A Dog with her rescue pals for around three months. Under their care, she flourished and learned many new things. Her rescuers knew she was ready for a new home when she transformed into a happy, healthy, sociable, and life-loving canine.
Lily flew from the streets of Romania to her new home in Germany, where her adoptive family awaited her arrival. There, she began a new life with her new parents, her new brother, and her new best friend, Mambo. Her happily ever after began with them.
