Initially, dogs were trained to assist people with disabilities. But what really happens when a seeing-eye dog is trained to assist another dog?

Charlie is an elderly dog in need of assistance. He has been a member of the Stipes family for 11 years, and old age has started to catch up to him.

Charlie’s serious glaucoma has caused him to lose both eyes, so his family decided to adopt a companion just for him. But instead of the normal employer-employee relationship, the Stipes family eventually discovered that the puppy eventually became more than just an ordinary seeing-eye dog for his senior dog sibling.

This beautiful new pup is named Maverick, a four-month-old in-training guide which is also known as the service dog. As soon as they first met, Maverick was glued to Charlie’s side and through time, the pair became inseparable!

Maverick is occasionally required to attend dog training, but when he’s not doing this, his family frequently sees him hanging out with Charlie. The young pup became the senior dog’s companion and they do lots of activities together including strolling, playing, eating, and even sleeping!

The Stipes family could not be more confident that the four-month-old puppy has discovered his true calling. They were quite overjoyed to have their two fur children around as they continuously bring joy, love, and affection into their home.

The Stipes family eventually decided to create an Instagram account for the cute pair in order to spread some beautiful dog vibes on the web.

They began to serve as an example for many other dog owners who have similar circumstances. Not only has this resulted in the adoption of additional dogs, but it has also assisted numerous senior canines, who no longer need to be sad as they age. Blind or not, all dogs have needs and owners should be aware of those.
