Dogs have this amazing connection with other animals. Even though they are totally different from each other, these doggos know how to be kind and friendly to them. Becoming loving and protective to other animal friends can come naturally to dogs.

Ashlyn, a four-year-old Pitbull, has always been kind and gentle to other animals. Her hooman, Kati, noticed this when she first adopted her. Whenever there are other animals around, the doggo has this strong maternal instinct to take care of them.

One instance was when Kati rescued two squirrels from their backyard, which got attacked by a predator. One of them, who they named Oakley, got a puncture wound from the incident and later on caused her to develop some deformities.

While Kati took care of them, Ashlyn was also there to give them enough support and encouragement until they got healthier again. When they tried releasing them into the wild, some wild squirrels were attacking Oakley, but Ashlyn was there to protect the squirrel and scare the others away.

Thanks to the doggo’s warm guidance for the squirrels, they were able to send them back into the wild eventually. Oakley was able to gain all the strength and confidence she needed to survive out there. She’s finally doing better and is even expecting to deliver baby squirrels soon.

Other than that, Ashlyn has always been like this to other rescue animals as well. So every season, when Kati finds orphaned animals, like raccoons, the doggo gets busy with taking care of these babies as if they were their own puppers.

These babies, in turn, also grew fond of the doggo, and they knew that she had been their foster mom because she has always been there to take care of them and protect them. Even though Ashlyn has never had her own babies, it was obvious that being a mother was something she was really made for.

Because of Ashlyn’s big heart of gold, she was able to prove everyone wrong about their stereotypes about Pitbulls. She is a one-of-a-kind doggo who can change the world by inspiring the people around her about how easy it is to become compassionate beings to others.
