Dogs and children don’t always get along, but when they do, it’s absolutely adorable. This is why a grandmother from Japan can’t resist but document the sweet relationship between her three poodles – Riku, Gaku, and Qoo – and her two grandkids Mame and Mugi.

The three dogs are larger than regular poodles; they are known as giant poodles or royal poodles. This is actually not a separate breed of poodles but just bigger a version of the standard poodle. Giant poodles can weigh as much as 25 kilograms.

Since Riku, Gaku, and Qoo are larger than the two kids, when the three are together, they look like a fabulous trio because of their size and cuteness. Gaku is the youngest among the three at only three years old. Qoo is the oldest at thirteen, while Mame is eleven years old.

The dogs have been watching over the two children since they were babies. They always play games together, and the kids love to dress up the three poodles. Even the youngest of the children, Mugi, is already showing fondness to the dogs even at a young age. He is always seen in photos hugging the dogs.

All of the dogs are close to the children. They are even considered as their best friends, but Riku is particularly close to Mame. This is probably because they have spent a lot of time together.

Both dog and children lovers will find grandma’s Instagram account enjoyable. You can see the dogs and the children dressed for Halloween in one photo as if they are going treat-and-tricking together. In another photo, you can see the dogs all dressed in pajamas.

The grandmother’s Instagram account is now viral and is followed by more than 500,000 people. You can follow her at @tamanegi.qoo.riku if you want to see an overabundance of cuteness.
