Surprisingly, a curious pitbull befriended a little duckling he saw in their backyard. The healthy brown-furred pitbull was intrigued with this bit of ‘something’ in the backyard. He might think, “Hey, there’s a tiny thing moving somewhat like a ball, but this is not a ball.”
Ribs tried to investigate the exciting object roaming the garden in this cute video footage. The mother duck was there the whole time, peacefully watching the interaction between the two. Ribs tried to converse with the duckling as gently as he could. The tiny one just stared at him, but after getting enough courage, it soon produced sounds responding to the friendly conversation.
Ribs can’t get enough of getting to know this little creature and continue to sniff and, at some point, paws it to encourage more friendly conversations. Yet he seems not ready for the little fowl’s reaction as he soon backs away from it. The duckling slowly walks towards the mother, looking confident and calm. The mama duck was seen opening her beak as if she was ending the friendly interaction between the two.
The mother duckling shows her protective motherly instinct, which is understandable. She oversees her little one the whole time but without interfering. Eventually, it’s an example of letting her little one explore and discover new things. We can see such sweet gestures on both sides.
Seeing Ribs showing a mild character and a friendly attitude was adorable. This enjoyable friendship was built out of curiosity. Seeing friendly communication between a big puppy and a tiny duckling is unusual. We can see the effort and the willingness to start a friendship between two creatures.
