One of the end-of-year hits that surprised movie fans around the world was Knives Out. This was a film about the death of a crime novelist named Harlan Thrombey after his 85th birthday. To uncover the truth, Detective Benoit Blanc, an inquisitive and debonair man, mysteriously became the investigator.

The movie’s clever twists and turns earned lots of praise, making the film receive a 96 percent approval on Rotten Tomatoes. However, there is another thing that unlikely stood out in this movie – Chris Evan’s sweater.

Chris played the character of Hugh Ransom Drysdale. He was Harlan’s spoilt playboy grandson, who was hated by his family. In the movie, Chris sported a cream cable-knit sweater, which instantly became a hit among its viewers. It even turned into a meme.

Because everyone was talking about it, the movie’s official Twitter account had to address it too. They changed their name to “Chris Evans’ Sweater Stan Account” instead of “Knives Out.” Now, even Chris had decided to get in on the action.

Chris conspired with his faithful dog, Dodger, to come up with a short but sweet message for the movie’s fans. It was perfect for the holiday season too. Chris made his adorable canine accomplice model a four-legged version of the renowned sweater.

Although Chris did not explicitly mention the movie or the jumper in his tweet, the people heard the message loud and clear. Obviously, Chris knew what he was doing, and his dog was happy to take part. Then, another Twitter user managed to make a festive comparison. She posted the photo of Kevin McAllister, from the movie Home Alone, wearing a similar sweater and captioned it with “triplets.”

Not to make Chris, Kevin, or anyone else feel bad, but Dodger wore it best. Whoever disagrees needs to get his eyes checked. This pup rocked it!
